A Letter To You Regarding Direct Care

Dear Beloved Patient,

Let’s be honest, healthcare has changed in the last 2 decades. We all feel it. Crowded waiting rooms, long wait times on the phone to make appointments, long wait times to see a doctor, difficulty actually seeing a board-certified doctor (instead, having to see a physician-assistant or nurse practitioner), difficulty in communicating with the office or with your doctor once you have had your visit. The list of complications goes on and on. As a physician practicing for almost 20 years, I have felt the struggle, too.

I decided to empower myself and create a practice environment that would give me the most satisfaction. Restoring that precious doctor-patient relationship and practicing high-quality medicine are my priorities. In my private practice, I am proud to be able to do this. I am able to spend the time and energy I need to accurately diagnose, treat and educate my patients. This model allows you, the patient, to take charge of your own health care. You make the decision of when to come in, how often to return to see me, and for how long. The insurance company doesn’t decide. Now, I am able to spend my time where it counts, with my patients.
